Hello I’m Rayanne Byatt, the new librarian at the William Harvey Library, George Eliot NHS Trust, Nuneaton.
My background is in public libraries and the heritage sector but a visit to the Clinical Sciences Building at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire prompted me to make a change in my career and develop experience in an NHS library. For the past four years I have been in the library service at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust where I completed my Post Graduate Qualification in Library and Information Studies. I’m really excited about joining the library team at the William Harvey Library and am passionate about helping Trust staff, students and volunteers to use the library services and resources. As literature searching will be part of my role I am also looking forward to providing the evidence you may need for your studies, patient care or service development.
