At the end of March, we said goodbye to Hammer Bamhare as he came to the end of his contract. Hammer has spent the last 18 months with us as a part-time clinical librarian. He worked with a number of different groups of staff; Paediatric Grand Round, Obs. and Gyn. journal club, CPEG and Audit. His specialism was in depth literature searches and his work has been appreciated people from across the trust.
In June we will welcome a new member of staff as assistant librarian. Rayanne Byatt will be working full time and will manage the day to day work of the library, including; book buying, journal management, e-resources, training and customer support.
Rayanne comes to us from the Barberry Library, at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Trust, where she worked as a library assistant. More information to full when Rayanne starts.
