Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our colleagues has never been more important. In addition to our own wellbeing initiatives, we are proud to support the Health and Wellbeing team in the work that they do. They can be contacted at hwb@swft.nhs.uk.

Time out and Leisure Book Collections

Both of our libraries boast a collection of books to read for pleasure. From fiction to biographies to cook books, we have a great selection. Our collections are mostly donated titles, so if you’ve finished with your latest read, please pass it on to us and we’ll make sure it’s available for your colleagues to read.

Reading Groups

Our popular wellbeing reading groups are always happy to welcome new members. We meet monthly online and it’s free to join! We borrow each month’s title from our local public library’s reading group collection, so you don’t even have to buy a book to join in. Find out more by clicking on the button below.

Wellbeing Book and Online Collections

Both of our libraries have books aimed at supporting our colleagues’ wellbeing. From self-help books to uplifting reads, workbooks to poetry, you’ll find something to boost your wellbeing.

Wellbeing Corner

Both libraries have wellbeing areas ready for you to relax. Boasting a sofa (GEH) and comfy chairs, they also house our wellbeing book collections, and we often have some relaxing activities waiting for you. Pop a piece or two into our jigsaw, try your hand at some origami or colouring in, or if you just want a space to decompress for a few minutes in your busy day, you’re very welcome.

Menopause newsletters
