Our Annual Report for 2015-16 (GEH intranet only) is now published. It shows how successful we have been in the past year. The number of literature searches we do for staff has again increased, as has the number of people trained. Our Clinical Librarians sit on and perform evidence searches for the Paediatric Grand Round, Clinical Product Evaluation Group, and the Controlled Document Review Group. New resources for this year include BMJ Best Practice, a UK based point of care tool.
The Library was praised as a good service when visited by Health Education England in October 2015, and our annual report was well received by the Workforce & Development Committee in the Trust.
Future developments include a new ebook service (watch this space!), and online article/book requests.
