The Library is pleased to present its annual report for 2019-2020 (GEH network only). The last year hasn’t gone quite as expected, but
the Library stayed open throughout the pandemic and services were maintained.
We continue to follow our vision of “Connecting YOU with the right information to learn, develop, innovate and research”. 97% of surveyed users said that they were either satisfied or very satisfied with Library services and that they were likely or extremely likely to recommend Library services.
We presented to the Board in November 2019. Here is the video we produced for the occasion. Our presentation was very well received.
New journal packages this year include Business Source Complete and Health Business Elite for management and finance journals at bit.ly/gehmanagementjournals and the Mark Allen journals for nursing and allied health: https://www.magonlinelibrary.com/.
Our Reading Group continued. Highlights included shadowing the Booker Prize, reading one of the winners Girl, woman, other by Bernardine Evaristo.
