Hi, I’m Lisa Mason the new Clinical Librarian at George Eliot. I joined the William Harvey library team at the start of June, and I’m excited to be part of the #teameliot family.
I have a background in Higher Education librarianship, having spent the past 24 years at the University of Wolverhampton in various librarian roles, the last leading the Skills for Learning team delivering information and study skills development opportunities to students.
My working hours are Monday to Thursday each week, and I’m here to support students and staff in clinical teams and departments across the Trust with their information needs. My interests include using social media to promote our services, teaching information literacy, and helping you to find and evaluate information so that you can continue to provide excellent evidence based health care.
