We recently acquired a large donation of Time Out Books for our collection. Amongst them were some classics like The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. There was also a smattering of Shakespeare too. There was a good variety of books so there is something for everyone, crime, romance, general fiction and sci-fi. The sci-fi included Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick, which was the story behind the film Bladerunner.
Anyone can join the library, you don’t have to be a clinician. The Time Out Books are for everyone who wants a bit of escapism from their busy lives. The books are the usual 4 week loans. The self-serve machine is available for out of hours issuing, renewing and returning.
