eMagazine service from Warwickshire libraries
In our recent Library Survey we were asked for Time Out/Leisure magazines for our Wellbeing Corner. Whilst we’ve a well used Time Out book collection (all donations thank you 😀 ) we are not able to fund non academic magazines, and it would be hard for us to compete with the fantastic service available from our public library colleagues.
Did you know you can enjoy free digital magazines and newspapers from Warwickshire Libraries ? In their new Overdrive eMagazine collection there’s something for everyone including favourites magazines like Auto Express, New Scientist, Good Housekeeping and BBC Good Food, to Hello! Magazine, BBC Gardener’s World and The Economist.
It’s an ideal way of taking a few minutes break with your favourite magazine. All you need is to be a Library member. Anyone living or working in Warwickshire can join Warwickshire Libraries – you can even register online . You can then download the Overdrive Libby app from the Apple Store or Google Play and sign up for an account with Overdrive! There’s plenty of help at hand if you are not sure how to get started – from a Coffee and Chat with their Digital Library Team or help via email.
There’s also their fabulous eBook and eAudio BorrowBox service where you’ll find books for both adults and children – now there’s an idea for the school holidays 💡 😀
