We’re proud to support the Trust’s sustainability plans, and as libraries, we always think green (what says Green Champions more than sharing books rather than everyone buying their own?), so this week we were thrilled to have the opportunity to plant a tree on Trust grounds.
With the help of Sean and the Sustainability Team, we got our hands dirty and contributed to the environment. It may not look like much, but that tube and stick are supporting our own little rowan tree. Here’s some pics of Bev, Deb, Lisa and Stephen in action.
Whilst only a little twiglet at the moment, we’re confident that our little rowan tree (tentatively named Groot) will grow up big and strong and full of green goodness. So much so that we helped plant 3 saplings in the end. Any name suggestions for the other 2?
