The William Harvey Library has recently purchased a dozen titles in Oxford University Press’s Very Short Introduction Series. These offer a concise introduction to subjects and though intended for a general audience they are written by experts in the field. Titles we have purchased include ‘Epidemiology’, ‘Statistics’, ‘History of Medicine’, ‘Cancer’ and ‘Medical Law’. They are available for loan from the library.
